It was a beautiful and windy morning of Saturday, 11th March 2017 when TRG Knights flexed muscles and embarked in the ground with the spirit of winning the final of 5th Challengers Corporate Cup 2016-17. TRG Knights were set to face Parco at Al-Mansoora Cricket Stadium at Karachi. All the team members were pumped up with the spirit of clinching the title. Syed Asad Ali, Syed Tahir Hasan & Faizan Zaheer utilized their experience and skills at their best throughout the tournament and again in final they decided to bat first. TRG Knights lost first wicket quite early but with the prudent and smart batting of Arsal, Mohsin and Sabeeh we were able to set a target of 187 for Parco. Believe in success enhanced when magical bowling from Sohaib Farooqi and Tahir Hasan bowled some tight lines and got wickets but we had goose bumps when Parco players started loosening their bats for fours and sixes in last phase of innings. The situation became intensified in last over when Parco required 21 of 6 balls and they couldn’t chase the target.
